Hmm... we were making fun of this movie so much that people were yelling at us to shut up. As if we could.
Let's see... this movie is basically about a woman who watches a random video in a hotel and magically has seven days to live. Yes, that's right, watching videos makes you die. Why does it seem like all horror movies lately follow this formula? Ok, anyway, so as I was saying, she watches the video, gets a random phone call, and then DOES NOT DIE after seven days. Umm.... huh? Of course, some other random guy dies after watching it... but who cares about him? So in the end, the person who randomly made the video lets the woman and her kid survive because they copy the tape.
Hmm... I love how there is no character development. Yup. None. The few good things about this movie are the impeccable graphics, the acting, and the build up to the climax. (although it sharply declined after that).
And the rest... is... history? If someone gives you this movie, by all means, watch it. If you find it in the bargain bin, don't buy it. If you see it being sold with well to do movies, complain to the manager. (or just shoplift all copies and beat them with an able baseball bat.)
